Riyadh - Mubasher: SAL Saudi Logistics Services Company has signed an agreement with Saudi Post (SPL), on 12 October, to enhance mail handling and transportation across Saudi Arabia.

The 12-month deal covers ground handling for postal and commercial shipments, according to a bourse disclosure.

SAL will manage mail and parcel processing, loading, storage, and movement between facilities and aircraft to improve operational efficiency and service integration.

The contract value will be determined based on service demand at agreed rates.

Meanwhile, the partnership’s positive financial impact is expected to appear starting from the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2025.

Mohammed Nahhas, President of SAL's Ground Handling Sector, stated: "We are proud of this partnership with Saudi Post, which aims to strengthen the integration between logistics and postal networks in the Kingdom, in line with our shared objectives to serve the national economy.”

“Leveraging SAL's expertise in ground handling and cargo management, we will ensure faster, safer, and more reliable processing of postal shipments," he added.

For his part, Khalid Al Mohammed, Vice President at SPL, said the deal with SAL reinforces SPL’s role in advancing the Kingdom’s postal and logistics ecosystem.

He emphasized that SPL’s nationwide network will apply top-quality and security standards to enhance mail processing and speed up distribution.

SAL recently established a wholly owned subsidiary named SAL Zones, with a paid-up capital of SAR 500,000 and an authorized capital of SAR 1.40 billion.
